YOUTH MENTORSHIP

A mentor who listens and helps you grow.

Looking for guidance, a listening ear or someone with experience to learn from? Start with the kind of support you hope for, then explore interests and a schedule that fits.

MORE THAN ONE THING IN COMMON

Start with what
matters to you.

Tell us what would help: someone who listens, shares life experience or helps you think through everyday choices. Then choose interests and times that fit your week. These factors help people and trained staff discuss a possible connection.

A FIT THAT FEELS PERSONAL

Choose a piece of the picture.

Start with something you both enjoy.

Music, art, sports, gaming or a new skill can make that first conversation easier. Shared interests open a door; they don’t define who you are.

A suggestion is only a starting point.

No one is placed automatically. Trained staff review, participant acceptance, verified guardian permission when needed and mentor screening must come before a real introduction.

MEET WITH SUPPORT

Start in person.
Keep growing together.

The first meeting is always in person at a staff-approved public or partner location, with staff supervision and guardian involvement appropriate to the young person’s age and needs.

After that first meeting, choose virtual calls or in-person meetings by agreement with staff, participants and a guardian where required. No home visits, private-workplace visits, rides or unapproved meetings.
